• FIRST IMPRESSIONS •
Described as tall and broad-shouldered. Lithe. At peak physical fitness.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES
† Marks around his eyes resembling tear tracks. Though mistakable for paint or tattoos, they're natural birthmarks. Out of self-consciousness at their being a token of his fey heritage, he almost always conceals his face with a hood.
† Battle scars along with a collection of aged and fresh lash scars on his back from repeat floggings.
† A brand in the shape of the cross on the back of his head. In the company of the paladins, he kept the area shaved in a partial tonsure just above where he ties his hair back. Without maintenance the shaven area will slowly grow out, though the scar tissue remains visible.

DRESS
As a monk he keeps to an ascetic style, usually no more complicated than plain greys and lightly armored robes with a detachable cloak and hood. Since leaving the paladins he may wear whatever's readily available. Often has a hood up, even indoors.
DEMEANOR
First impressions: a reticent dementor in human form. Strugglebuses at emoting. Quiet, observant, and expresses more through actions and non-verbal cues. Has a tight control of his body and tends to be very still, deliberate, and graceful when moving. Mistaking soft-spokenness for meekness is a mistake people usually only make once, however; he can be a forthright, commanding presence. Prone to fits of brooding.
VOICE
I | II — Technically he speaks some ye olde Brittonic dialect, but for the purposes of ~universal translators~ he sounds English.
• ABILITIES & SKILLS •
Enhanced physicality
As a fey he is suggested to have some mild superhuman enhancements over humans. He's described as unnaturally fast and graceful, even by fey standards, putting him on par with other nimble fey species like Kaze.
Fighting prowess
A master swordsman trained by paladin assassins, with experience handling various weaponry. Known as a fearsome fey hunter, rumored to switch up weapons just to keep kills from getting monotonous. He employs a dexterous, acrobatic fighting style to the effect of being Extra, i.e. snatching arrows from the air, snapping necks with his feet, etc. As observed by Gawain, he is one of the best warriors of their age.
Supernatural detection
Has a supernatural ability to sense fey and magic. This commonly manifests as a scent for him, implied to be a passive display of his Ash Folk heritage and their connection to the Hidden (nature spirits all fey draw their magic from). His strong sense of smell adds to already adept tracker skills and make him something of a creepy bloodhound on two legs.

Camouflage
Some fey exhibit a chameleon-like ability to turn their skin the same color and texture of something they touch, allowing them to seamlessly blend in. The paladins have been known to use this as a litmus test to expose human-looking fey and is how Gawain realizes he, too, is one of them when he falls onto some green leaves, turning his hand green. As the only fey who've shown this ability were in distress at the time, it appears to be a controllable effect that may slip out involuntarily.
